Our experiences cover groups of up to 12 people (of any age). No previous boating experience is needed as we will take care of everything for you. You and your guests simply need to step off the marina and onto the boat deck and enjoy your time with us.

About Sea Air Charters

Our aim is to open up the experience of enjoying time on the sea and the world of boat chartering to everybody. No previous knowledge required!

Sea Air Charters promote and make accessible complete experience packages for boat chartering – designed for everyone (especially people with no past experience of day charters) by the highly regarded charter company Ocean Sports Tuition Limited who are based in Southampton.

The idea of making day chartering more accessible comes from married couple John and Michelle. Whilst Michelle comes from a family with a boating background. John’s does not. But they both love the experience of being on the water.

Michelle’s father was the skipper of the Pill Ferry. Boats and boating holidays and her love of all things boaty were instilled in Michelle from her early childhood. She is now a qualified day skipper.

John on the other hand is a solicitor who for 30 years has worked in areas of law supporting families who have suffered a bereavement. Wills. Probate. Coroner’s Court.

John says “Despite what you might think I’ve found these to be heartwarming areas of law to work in. I see families come together to support each other at a time of shared grief.”

“I have also seen friends and family want to find a suitable way to celebrate the life of the person who has died. So often the talk is of a celebration on a boat and even scattering ashes at sea. However finding a company to provide that service has until now been difficult.”

So bringing together this desire to make boat chartering accessible and Michelle’s boating background Sea Air Charters was developed.
