One of earth’s natural beauties is the sunset dipping below the horizon creating a stunning display of colours in the sky. A good sunset even on cloudy days can show vibrant hues of warm oranges, fiery reds and sometimes soft pinks and purples.

The changing colours and patterns of the sky can often leave you in awe and provoke emotions such as tranquillity, peace and wonder to nostalgia and introspections. They can also be incredibly romantic. They are favoured by poets, artists and photographers, but where we can all visibly see and appreciate the attraction and where sunset makes a perfect natural backdrop for any special occasion. Legend Lady

Legend Lady is now offering bespoke Solent sunset charters for you take advantage of the dramatic scenery that unfolds during sunset. You can bring yourself and a partner, family or friends (up to 12 people) on a sunset charter with Legend Lady, brand new to the charter market for 2024.

Legend Lady with all her home comforts, bountiful space and experienced friendly crew will provide the perfect home for the evening for your sunset vantage point. To have the best chance of viewing sunset you will start your charter being picked up in the prestigious Ocean Village Marina at around 7.00 pm to prepare for your welcome on board, safety briefing, introduction to the boat and crew and talk through the plan for the evening.

From there you will set off on a cruise to a destination where you will likely drop anchor and have the best chance of visibility of the sunset. We will provide you with hot and soft drinks and some blankets to keep you extra warm if you want to sit outside for extra comfort.

After you have seen the sunset there will be time for a cruise home back to Ocean Village Marina for around 10.00pm where you will disembark. If you wish to stay the night nearby, we highly recommend the very popular (again booking in advance is essential) www.harbourhotels.co.uk

The Trip

Part of your journey with us is to set sail and cruise around the Solent in the designated central area. lf you wish to travel further afield than this, or extend your journey then please be aware anything beyond the central area may incur additional charges.

The Boat

Stop offs and overnight charters ( single night or longer stays) can be catered for if you desire a longer journey to another destination further afield. Please contact us with your specific requirements so we can discuss possible destinations, dates, and appropriate charter charges with you.

Groups

Groups larger than 12 people can catered for with the use of addition boats from the Ocean Sport charter fleet.
